Formulas Used
Standard Formula: Max HR = 220 - Age. This provides a general baseline.
Karvonen Formula: Takes your Resting Heart Rate into account. Target HR = ((Max HR - Resting HR) × %Intensity) + Resting HR. This is more personalized and accurate.
